The opening ceremony of the Alum Creek Trail from Innis Park to Sunbury Rd. took place on Friday, July 15, 2011.
Historic Bridgeview Bridge is a fully restored 1902 structure on the Alum
Creek Trail section of The Ohio to Erie Trail near Innis Park at 3000 Innis
Rd. In Columbus.
During the opening ceremony, this bridge was dedicated in memory of Ed Honton, founder of the Ohio to Erie Trail.
Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman, Franklin County Engineer Dean Ringle, and
Ohio to Erie Trail Fund Executive Director Jerry Rampelt
were joined at the ceremony by family and friends of Ed Honton.
