The following details for the ceremony have been finalized:
1. At 9:30 am, ceremonies will begin at the South Charleston trailhead.
This ceremony will celebrate the dedication of the South Charleston trailhead, new restroom facilities, and the official opening of the Prairie Grass Trail.

By 10:00 am, participants will be invited to ride, walk, rollerblade
or jog on the new trail toward London.
(Those who prefer to drive can follow State Route 42 toward London.)
2. At 11:30 am, a final ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the
London trailhead, located at the Madison County Senior Center
at 280 West High Street in London.
This final ceremony will celebrate the construction of the London trailhead shelter,
along with a footbridge built by the Friends of Madison County Parks and Trails.

In addition, the Friends of Madison County Parks and Trails will raffle off a bicycle
donated by the London Wal-Mart.

Participants will be entertained througout the ceremony by Columbus disc jockey "Dusty Discs".
3. After the ceremonies, all participants are encouraged to attend
the London Strawberry Festival taking place in downtown London,
less than a mile from the London trailhead.
The "world's largest" gathering of Cobra Sports Cars will be taking place at the festival
to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
