The 2004 edition of the "Southwest Ohio's Waterways and Pathways" is now available. This publication developed by Ed Dressler, recently retired Greene County Park Director, provides the most current information describing trails, parks, rivers, lakes, attractions and available services along the network of bike trails in Southwest Ohio.
The Friends of Madison County Parks and Trails, with the help of over 13 local sponsors, created a full-page advertisement in this publication to showcase the opening of the Prairie Grass Trail segment of the Ohio to Erie Trail through Madison County and downtown London.
Over 16,000 copies of this publication will be circulated around the state, including all major bicycle events.
You may recall in 2002 when the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure passed through London with over 3000 riders. This is the type of exposure the advertisement will receive in 2004. We hope that this exposure will generate interest and bring new visitors to London and Madison County this summer.
You can pick up your free copy of "Southwest Ohio's Waterways and Pathways" at the Madison County Commissioners' office, Buckleys Deli, the Madison County Senior Center, and at several other business locations in downtown London.
