As you arrive in London, we hope to keep you entertained and informed-rain or shine. Indoor sleeping space will be available in the air conditioned London High School gym on a first come first serve basis. It will be administered by the local athletic association for $4/night starting at 10 AM at the gym entrance.

On-going events during your stay will include scavenger hunts that will earn you prizes and allow you to explore our trail system, take a self guided walking tour of historic London, see an antique bike display, and enjoy day long pool specials. Each evening our newly remodeled downtown theater will feature a classic movie for $5 for adults and $4 for children. If it is too hot or raining, take the kids to Golf & Glow for indoor "putt putt", at 25% off the regular price.

On Wednesday, scheduled events include 2-5:00 PM introduction to archery, learn archery fundamentals from the division of wildlife, then move 1 mile toward downtown to watch amateur and professional bike racing. Feeling fast - you can enter the day of the race; if not, watch the pros on a 1 km course. After the races there will be a three hour concert by the Arnett Howard Creole Funk Band in nearby Cowling Park.

On Thursday morning there will be a corn toss tournament with prizes for the top three winning teams, and the first 100 people will get a 23-25 mm bike inner tube for entering. Starting at 1 PM will be a lecture series including a live wild life show by the Ohio Wildlife Center. Next, three interesting and humorous stories will be told by local historian, Mike Bergman, about people and places that you will pass near on your GOBA tours. Then stay around and find out what's new with the Ohio Erie Trail from Jerry Rampelt the executive director. At 5:00 PM the Cobra sports cars roll into town. You will have the rare opportunity to ride in a powerful Ford Cobra for a $10 donation benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Don't miss the unique chance to feel a Cobra "strike." If you're feeling lucky, you can buy a chance to win your own Cobra for a $20 donation to the Cycstic Fibrosis Foundation.

Also on Thursday the London Strawberry Festival opens at 1:00 PM. Please see their website for details at: londonstrawberryfestival.com/

After GOBA is over, help London celebrate its Bicentennial with the London to Brighton Bicentennial Bicycle Tour on Saturday, July 2nd. See the London Information Tent for all the details. In the meantime, check with the sponsoring club, www.fmcpt.com. And before, during, or after GOBA, if you have questions about London or Madison Co., see the visitors bureau site, madisoncountyohio.org.
